    Air Pressure Sensor

    Call for pricing
The sensor shows outstanding performance as it has practically no hysteresis, no temperature drift and no ageing. A barometric pressure sensor produced for use in hot climates and designed for Aanderaa Automatic Weather Stations and Display Units.

    Air Temperature Sensor

    Call for pricing
High-accuracy air temperature measurements are very often required and this sensor is especially designed for this purpose The sensor has many applications both indoors and outdoors and it is one of several atmospheric sensors made by Aanderaa Data Instruments. The sensor is furnished with a standard Aanderaa sensor foot that plugs directly onto the sensor cross-arm of the Automatic Weather Station 2700 or, it can be fastened to a 25mm aluminum tube.

    Conductivity sensor

    Call for pricing
Conductivity sensors from Aanderaa are compact, fully integrated sensors for measuring the electrical conductivity of seawater. Conductivity is a key parameter for in-situ measurements of several fundamental physical properties of seawater. For seawater, the ability to conduct electrical current is mostly dependent on temperature and the amount of inorganic dissolved solids. Salinity is defined as the concentration of dissolved solids. This means that, together with temperature and depth information, a good estimate of the salinity may be determined. By using the inductive principle, stable measurement can be obtained without utilizing electrodes that are easily fouled and may wear out in the field.

    Current Sensors

    Call for pricing
The Aanderaa Current Sensors are based on the backscatter acoustic Doppler principle. Doppler Current Sensor (DCS) The Aanderaa Doppler Current Sensor is a rugged, true vector averaging sensor for measuring current speed and direction in the sea. The sensor has built-in compass and tilt sensor and may also output sea temperature. The speed range is 0 to 300 cm/s. Low current drain and flexible sampling schemes. New multi-frequency Doppler Current Sensor (DCS) with ZPulse technology achieves better performance using only half the power than previous models. The new, fast response compass and tilt circuitry has no moving parts achieving excellent performance in unstable areas such as in the wave zone close to surface. In-line ZPulse DCS Doppler Current Sensor 5800 / 5810 The inline ZPulse DCS has been designed in order to easily integrate into systems offering a compact and elegant solution. It is based on a modified version of the ZPulse Doppler Current Sensor 4520. The unit connects to a combined mooring and signal cable in one end and allow for connection of a continuation cable at the opposite end. It can hold a load of up to 1300 kg. It has been developed to replace the previous Aanderaa DCS 4100 using newer technology and extending capabilities. DCPS 5400/5400R/5402/5402R/5403/5403R - Doppler Current Profiler Sensor The Doppler Current Profiler Sensor (DCPS) is a medium range, 600kHz current profiler smart sensor. If features innovative development of the acoustic profiling ability to collect high quality current information also on moving and tilting platforms. The 5400/5400R version is 300m depth rated, the 5402/5402R version is 4500m depth rated and the 5403/5403R version is 6000m depth rated and is intended for commercial as well as research use. It comes with an integrated temperature sensor that can be calibrated on request.

    GeoView

    Call for pricing
Aanderaa GeoView is a web based display solution for environmental data display. Aanderaa GeoView is part of the Aanderaa Real-Time Solution. This gives the user vast opportunities for interfacing meteorological, oceanographpic, or other environmental research equipment in a networked solution giving access to data real-time. The Aanderaa GeoView has the following functionality: Web based application showing real-time data in a standard browser Display of both real-time and historical data in graphs Datastorage and retrieval from included database Zoom on time scale to study a subset of the data for a certain parameter Standard statistic analysis for min, max, average over selectable intervals Possible to show data from one or more stations in the same display if desired Options for several pages with for instance one station per page Options for including maps to use as a menu system to navigate between data from different sites

    MIRA Visibility

    Call for pricing
The MIRA Visibility Sensor 3544 is designed to fulfill the demand for a small, low power unit to be operated with Aanderaa Measuring Stations. Visibility in the atmosphere is of great interest for road and sea traffic and in aviation. The MIRA Visibility Sensor 3544 is designed to fulfill the demand for a small, low power unit to be operated with Aanderaa Measuring Stations. Visibility is often limited by fog and haze and the sensor is designed to detect these factors.
