    Regulation:
    SOLAS regulation III 20.10
    Marking of stowage locations.
    Containers, brackets, racks, and other similar stowage locations for life-saving equipment, shall be marked with symbols in accordance with the recommendations of IMO, indicationg the devices stowed in that location for the purpose.
    If more than one device is stowed in that location, the number of devices shall also be indicated.
    For both SOLAS regulations reference should be made to the symbols related to the Life Saving Appliance and arrangements adopted by IMO Res. A 760(18) as amended. In addition reference must be made to Standard ISO 17631:2002 as adopted by IMO.
